Celebrity Googly Eyes

Concept / art direction / GIF creation for a marketing campaign for Archie McPhee’s new Googly Eyes products.
I had the idea to add moving digital googly eyes to iconic portraits and photos of various celebrities, and we created a Tumblr blog called Celebrity Googly Eyes. It quickly went viral, catching the attention of dozens of media outlets including HuffPo, BuzzFeed, and Mashable. A handful of celebrities specifically requested we add googly eyes to their image. I created all GIFs related to the site.
